Hello,

Sadly I’ve lost some data.
After a crash I hadn’t find my last modifications since the installation of this new version.
Despite the option ”sauvegarder automatiquement après chaque modification” in preferences is enabled, the tasks file is not saved after modification.
You can try: when quitting TC propose to save the tasks while it was not the case with previous versions.
Moreover the button and the menu ”sauvegarder” are inefficient.

I search in backup directory but unfortunately there is nothing.
Library/Application Support/Task Coach/backups

Is there an other way to recover my lost data?

Thanks, Pascal.

According to the log the backup fails because of a non-ASCII character in the filename (which is a bug); it then prevents the actual save...

No, sorry, if the backups and save failed, it’s lost. I’m fixing this ASAP.

Cheers
Jérôme

Thanks Jérôme, it’s ok now with TC 1.4.1.
In fact the non-ASCII character was not exactly in the filename but in the path : ~/Documents/Tâches

Thanks again, Pascal.

Yep, I guessed so. I have a long habit of avoiding non-ASCII characters as well as spaces in paths myself, so it didn’t bite me :(

Cheers
